Limited Warranty
This purchase is warranted for a period of 90 days from the invoice date unless otherwise stated by the seller. Products deemed defective will be dealt with on a replacement, repair, or refund basis to a maximum of the purchase price of the item at the discretion of the seller. G&G Auto Recycling, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, labor costs, or any expenses such as towing, emergency road service, lodging, or related expenses directly or indirectly at any time during or after installation of any or all parts sold. Warranty void if part is disassembled.
Engines are warranted to be in good operating condition with reasonable limits of specifications (i.e. oil pressure, compression, and oil consumption). Only substantial engine noise or knocking will be considered defective. Only the block, head(s), and valve train, are covered under this warranty. Accessories such as oil pan, water pump, distributor, carburetor, exhaust manifold, etc. may be left on for customer convenience only and are not covered under this warranty. A heat sensor tab is installed on all engines. Warranty is void if heat sensor is removed or melted due to overheating. Front and rear seals and timing belt must be replaced at time of installation or warranty void.
Standard Transmissions and rear axles are warranted to be functional. Gears are warranted at time of purchase not to have cracked or broken teeth. Cracked or broken teeth appearing after the sale will be considered obvious abuse and will not be warranted.
Automatic Transmissions are warranted functional assemblies. Gaskets and front and rear seals must be replaced prior to installation. Some transmissions contain more than one fluid reservoir. Damage caused by improper alignment of converter (causing damage to the front pump) or defective or contaminated converter will void warranty. You must check with a transmission specialist on converter installation to avoid damage.
Cylinder Heads are warranted to be re-buildable and not cracked at the time of sale only.
